Walter Williams on the virtues of not caring
The latest weekly column by economist Walter Williams, called Caring vs. Uncaring, gives a brief but helpful reminder of how economics really works. While one must be careful not to conclude from this piece that there is little or no value in caring and selflessness, Williams makes some good basic points, particularly about the positive role of profits in our economy.
